Co-creation Session for a Green Mobility Application (Design Thinking implementation, Mentimeter)

On 28 January 2026, the MOBILAIR team reunited with postgraduate students from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) for a 2-hour co-creation session focused on designing a Green Mobility Application through the Design Thinking methodology.

The session began with a presentation of the MOBILAIR project and its objectives, followed by an introduction to key concepts in green mobility and the app. Students then worked through four stages of the Design Thinking process, Empathise, Define, Ideate, and Prototype, each carried out within predefined time periods to keep the process focused and productive.

Building on the foundations laid in the previous semester’s co-creation activities, participants brought a stronger understanding of user needs and sustainable mobility challenges. The structured methodology allowed students to move beyond general ideas and begin shaping concrete concepts for a citizen-facing green mobility application.

The session is part of MOBILAIR’s ongoing commitment to participatory design, ensuring that the application is shaped by the real needs and perspectives of the people who will use it every day.
